A mentor is a friend who offers accountability. She’s a good listener, a member of a local church, able to set healthy boundaries, and willing to walk beside someone in their journey of life. At the Lydia Center, mentors become part of a client’s treatment team. The ultimate goal of Lydia Center mentors, however, is to offer continuous accountability as a woman transitions to life outside of the Lydia Center.
If you can commit to meeting with a mentee at least once every two weeks, talking on the phone weekly and working as part of the Lydia Center treatment team for the benefit of the client, please contact us for more information.
